It’s been wedding season for some time now, and boy does time fly! To start off our season we got to shoot a themed wedding, this time: 1920’s!
It was so great seeing the guests participate in the theme and get all dolled up Gatsby style and all the attention to detail, from the cake, the font used for their super creative guestbook, even the reception location – it all attributed to a 1920s vibe.
This couple had decided to have a “unplugged” wedding, they asked their guests to not take any photos and left it up to us, the professionals, to capture the day. This was our first wedding where the bride and groom were adamant and enforced this rule and I truly believe it was a big contributing factor what led to the light, connected, special feel to the day. Not to mention it gave Dave and I a chance to not have to worry about someone being in the way during an important shot, or capturing the back of multiple smart phone and digital camera screens.
We are so happy that the Halicki’s chose us to be a part of this amazing day and we look forward to being part of future life events with this new family.
