Flashback Friday: Alice Cooper

We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!

The first tape I ever bought with my own money was Alice Cooper, Killers. For us to end up on Alice Cooper’s bus, in Germany, was one of the most surreal moments that I can remember. He was one of the coolest rock stars I have ever met and one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people for all that he’s been through and achieved. We sat there and talked about golf of all things, and he talked about his restaurant, Cooper’stown, in Pheonix Arizona. So the next time I found myself in Pheonix, I made it my mission to go and have a pulled pork sandwich and a glass of beer at his one-of-a-kind eatery.
